The Calvert Trojans basketball team (Calvert, TX), was nudged 2-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Richards Panthers (Richards, TX)
The Panthers now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fayetteville for a 1A Region IV District 29 battle on Friday, February 3. Richards will battle a Lions team coming off a 2-0 league win over Calvert (Calvert, TX). The Lions record now stands at 13-12.
The Trojans (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against North Zulch (North Zulch, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region IV District 29 battle with a 14-10 record. In their last battle, North Zulch edged Buckholts (Buckholts, TX), 2-0, in a league battle.
