The Faith Christian Patriots basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the host Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans to 17 in the Patriots league victory on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocky Mount Academy for a NCISAA Carolina Independent contest on Friday, February 3. Faith Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-40 non-league win over Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.

The Spartans (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC). The Colts come into the non-league contest with a 20-3 record. In their last contest, Crossroads Christian prevailed over Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC), 67-26, in a league contest.
