In Friday's league outing, the Faith Christian Patriots (Rocky Mount, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC), by a margin of 41-20.

The Patriots (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Oakwood (Greenville, NC). The Eagles go into the NCISAA Carolina Independent outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Oakwood was trounced by Epiphany (New Bern, NC), 56-6, in a non-league outing.

The Spartans now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Wake Prep Academy for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 11. Kerr-Vance Academy will clash with a Guardians squad coming off a 29-18 non-league win over Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Guardians record now stands at 3-6.
