Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD), 73-11 in a league bout.

With the win, Linganore upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Lancers host Frederick (Frederick, MD) to play the Cadets in a Central Maryland bout on Friday, February 3. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Frederick won 50-10 in their recent non-league bout against St. James (Hagerstown, MD)

Next up, the Patriots play the Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) in a Central Maryland bout, on Thursday, February 2. Governor Thomas Johnson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 48-36 non-league win over Winters Mill (Westminster, MD).
