The White Deer Bucks basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Groom Tigers to 45 in the Bucks league victory on Tuesday.
The Bucks now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silverton for a 1A Region I District 2 contest on Friday, February 3. White Deer will battle a Owls team coming off a 38-18 league loss to Valley (Turkey, TX). The Owls record now stands at 16-9.
The Tigers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Turkey, TX). The Patriots come into the 1A Region I District 2 contest with a 21-9 record. In their last contest, Valley was nudged by Claude (Claude, TX), 54-44, in a league contest.
