The Nacogdoches Dragons basketball team (Nacogdoches, TX), was overwhelmed 52-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX)

The Hornets now possess a 12-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dayton for a 5A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, February 3. Huntsville will confront a Broncos team coming off a 62-40 league loss to Lufkin (Lufkin, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 5-20.

The Dragons (13-16) will now prepare for their battle against Porter (Porter, TX). The Spartans come into the 5A Region II District 16 battle with a 10-14 record. In their last battle, Porter was overwhelmed by Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX), 53-46, in a league battle.
