McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), 76-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, McClintock upgrades its record to 22-1 on the campaign. The Chargers host Fairfax (Laveen, AZ) to play the Stampede in a 5A Metro bout on Thursday, February 2. The Stampede come into the bout with a record of 20-4. Fairfax won 64-24 in their recent league bout against South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Rattlers play the Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro bout, on Thursday, February 2. North Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-23 record after their 48-41 league loss to Central (Phoenix, AZ).
