With the victory, Permian improves its record to 12-14 on the campaign. The Panthers host San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 6A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 19-12. San Angelo Central won 47-24 in their recent league challenge against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Midland will attempt to improve on its 12-18 season record. The Bronchos come into the challenge with a 18-15 record after their 89-34 league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX).
