In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Courtland Cougars basketball team scored a tight 34-29 triumph over the Caroline Cavaliers.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. Courtland will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 8-12 record after their 23-20 non-league loss to Eastern View (Culpeper, VA).
With the defeat, Caroline moves to 4-13 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA) to meet the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 10-4.
