With the victory, Caroline improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Godwin (Richmond, VA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Godwin lost 28-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Courtland will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 40-31 non-league win over James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA).
