North Carolina High School Basketball - Ashbrook crushes North Gaston

January 31, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28054

Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 55-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ashbrook upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Greenwave travel to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 6-8.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. North Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 16-0 record after their 44-39 non-league win over South Point (Belmont, NC).
