Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 66-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ashbrook upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Greenwave host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to clash with the Storm in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Stuart W. Cramer lost 72-32 in their recent league bout against Huss (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. North Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 9-0 record after their 46-39 non-league win over South Point (Belmont, NC).
