The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Buffalo Gap Bison to 18 in the Green Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Green Hornets now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Defiance for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Wilson Memorial will meet a Indians team coming off a 40-27 non-league win over Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Indians record now stands at 11-5.
The Bison (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Grace Christian (Staunton, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Grace Christian triumphed over Mt. Carmel Christian Academy (Luray, VA), 53-23, in a league contest.
