West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC), 38-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Caldwell upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 2-16. West Lincoln lost 54-51 in their recent non-league bout against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC)

Next up, the Wolves play the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Lincolnton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 44-38 non-league loss to Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC).
