The Piedmont Panthers basketball team (Monroe, NC), dropped 63-49 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC)
The Spartans now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porter Ridge for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Sun Valley will battle a Pirates team coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 3-12.
The Panthers (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks come into the non-league battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Marvin Ridge prevailed over Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC), 33-26, in a non-league battle.
