Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) and the host Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT), saw North Country Union's basketball squad knock off Lamoille by a count of 44-34.

With the victory, North Country Union upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Falcons host Peoples Academy (Morrisville, VT) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Peoples Academy lost 71-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Spaulding (Barre, VT)

Next up, the Lancers play the Lake Region Rangers (Orleans, VT) in a Capital challenge, on Friday, February 2. Lamoille will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 80-42 league loss to Montpelier (Montpelier, VT).
