Washington, DC High School Basketball - Potomac School can't hold off Maret

The Maret Frogs basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Potomac School Panthers to 67 in the Frogs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Frogs now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. James for a Mid-Atlantic contest on Thursday, February 1. Maret will battle a Saints team coming off a 63-42 league win over Georgetown Day (Washington, DC). The Saints record now stands at 5-13.

The Panthers (8-14) will now prepare for their contest against Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Quakers enter the DCSAA AA contest with a 16-4 record. In their last contest, Sidwell Friends tipped Flint Hill (Oakton, VA), 55-39, in a league match.
