Pittsburg Dragons (Pittsburg, KS) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS), 96-75 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pittsburg upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Dragons host Field Kindley (Coffeyville, KS) to play the Golden Tornado in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Golden Tornado go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Field Kindley won 49-43 in their recent non-league bout against Labette County (Altamont, KS)

Next up, the Vikings play the Fort Scott Tigers (Fort Scott, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Parsons will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 56-39 non-league win over Independence (Independence, KS).
