Pittsburg Dragons (Pittsburg, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parsons Vikings (Parsons, KS), 82-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pittsburg upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Dragons host Chanute (Chanute, KS) to clash with the Blue Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Blue Comets go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Chanute won 57-46 in their recent non-league bout against Labette County (Altamont, KS)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Field Kindley Golden Tornado (Coffeyville, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Parsons will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Golden Tornado go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 62-26 non-league win over Independence (Independence, KS).
