The Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), 35-27 in Wednesday's league test.
The Tigers (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens go into the 5A District 5 test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Rio Grande went down by Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM), 47-35, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe for a 5A District 5 test on Saturday, February 3. Capital will encounter a Demons squad coming off a 46-35 league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Demons record now stands at 6-13.
