Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) and the host Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME), saw Dexter's basketball squad wallop Piscataquis by a tally of 50-19.

With the victory, Dexter improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to play the Golden Bucks in a C North challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Golden Bucks come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Bucksport lost 32-28 in their recent league challenge against Central (East Corinth, ME)

Next up, the Pirates play the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Piscataquis will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Pandas come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 46-30 league loss to Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME).
