The Dexter Tigers basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Piscataquis Pirates to 8 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Stevens Academy for a C North contest on Friday, December 15. Dexter will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-35 league loss to Central (East Corinth, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
The Pirates (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Central (East Corinth, ME). The Red Devils come into the C North contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Central was routed by Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME), 62-44, in a league contest.
