With the win, East upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The host Ursuline (Youngstown, OH) to play the Fighting Irish in a Freelance bout on Monday, February 5. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Ursuline lost 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Springfield (New Middletown, OH)

Next up, the Dragons play the Chaney Cowboys (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 51-42 non-league loss to Aquinas (Louisville, OH).
