Oregon High School Basketball - Lewis Academy nudges Oregon School for the Deaf

In Wednesday's league outing, the Lewis Academy Watchmen (Newberg, OR) basketball squad edged the host Oregon School for the Deaf Panthers (Salem, OR), by a count of 2-0.
The Watchmen (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR). The Warriors go into the 1A Casco outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Willamette Valley Christian was tipped by Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR), 50-33, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Grand View Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1. Oregon School for the Deaf will play a squad coming off a 27-21 league win over Valor Christian (Beaverton, OR). The record now stands at 4-5.
