The Lewis Academy Watchmen (Newberg, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Oregon School for the Deaf Panthers (Salem, OR), 38-20 in Thursday's league test.

The Watchmen (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Lyle/Wishram (Lyle, WA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Lyle/Wishram went down by Grand View Christian Academy (Beavercreek, OR), 38-18, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Willamette Valley Christian for a 1A Casco test on Tuesday, December 12. Oregon School for the Deaf will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 31-30 league loss to Crosshill Christian (Turner, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
