Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA), 45-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Page County upgrades its record to 4-15 on the season. The Panthers host Rappahannock County (Washington, VA) to play the in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Rappahannock County won 51-47 in their recent non-league bout against Strasburg (Strasburg, VA)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Madison County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 50-22 non-league win over Luray (Luray, VA).
