Texas High School Basketball - Parkland knocked off by Americas

In Friday's league test, the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) basketball squad knocked off the host Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), by a score of 44-33.

Next, the Trail Blazers encounter the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Americas will attempt to improve on its 18-10 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 8-21 record after their 42-33 league win over El Dorado (El Paso, TX).

The Matadors (7-21) will now prepare for their test against Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Highlanders come into the 5A Region I District 2 test with a 14-15 record. In their last test, Bel Air beat Horizon (El Paso, TX), 57-40, in a league test.
