The Paynesville Bulldogs basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons to 59 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Redwood Valley for a AA Section 3 game on Tuesday, February 4. Paynesville will play a Cardinals team coming off a 72-54 league win over Pipestone (Pipestone, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Mayer Lutheran (Mayer, MN) to play the Crusaders in a A Section 2 game on Monday, February 3. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 9-10. Mayer Lutheran won 77-70 in their recent non-league game against Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN)
