Connecticut High School Basketball - Cheshire knocks off Branford

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Cheshire Rams basketball team scored a good 78-66 win over the Branford Hornets.
The Rams (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Law (Milford, CT). The Lawmen come into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Law was topped by Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT), 75-51, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Branford will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record.
