The Coalfield Yellow Jackets basketball squad (Coalfield, TN), lost 76-68 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Wartburg Central Bulldogs (Wartburg, TN)
With the victory, Wartburg Central improves its record to 8-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Midway (Kingston, TN) to encounter the Green Wave in a non-league test on Monday, February 3. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 12-5. Midway won 91-74 in their recent non-league test against Jellico (Jellico, TN)
The Yellow Jackets (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Sunbright (Sunbright, TN). The Tigers come into the 1A District 3 test with a 16-6 record. In their last test, Sunbright beat Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN), 52-42, in a league test.
