The Stratford Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Cypress Ridge Rams to 29 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 14-15 record. They play next when they travel to Memorial for a 6A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, February 4. Stratford will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 66-51 league win over Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-16.

With the loss, Cypress Ridge falls to 8-20 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Cypress Falls (Houston, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 23-8.
