Michigan High School Basketball - Lincoln thwarts Dakota

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lincoln Abes (Warren, MI) and the visiting Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI), observed Lincoln's basketball team knock off Dakota by a score of 62-51.

The Abes (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI). The Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 17-0 record. In their last challenge, University of Detroit Jesuit prevailed over Catholic Central (Novi, MI), 73-67, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Warren Woods-Tower Titans (Warren, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Dakota will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record.
