Arizona High School Basketball - Sabino knocks off Douglas

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Sabino Sabercats basketball team scored a good 80-67 win over the Douglas Bulldogs.

The Sabercats (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Andrada Polytechnic (Tucson, AZ). The Mavericks come into the 3A South contest with a 1-18 record. In their last contest, Andrada Polytechnic was topped by Empire (Tucson, AZ), 89-19, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ) in a 4A Gila contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Douglas will attempt to advance on its 13-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 10-13 record after their 92-61 league win over Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ).
