The Fannin County Rebels basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Gordon Lee Trojans to 36 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now have a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dade County for a A D1 Region 7 game on Monday, February 3. Fannin County will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 78-21 league win over Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-15.

With the loss, Gordon Lee falls to 6-18 on the campaign. The Trojans host Coosa (Rome, GA) to confront the Eagles in a A D1 Region 7 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 10-13. Coosa lost 88-49 in their recent league game against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA)
