In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Fannin County Rebels basketball team scored a close 55-48 triumph over the Gordon Lee Trojans.
The Rebels (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA). The Lions go into the A D1 Region 7 contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Christian Heritage nipped Coosa (Rome, GA), 78-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 contest, on Thursday, January 9. Gordon Lee will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 78-51 league loss to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA).
