The Piscataquis Pirates basketball squad (Guilford, ME), was crushed 61-32 in Friday's league battle with the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME)
With the victory, George Stevens Academy advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Eagles host Bucksport (Bucksport, ME) to meet the Golden Bucks in a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 5. The Golden Bucks enter the battle with a record of 2-15.
The Pirates now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dexter for a C North battle on Monday, February 3. Piscataquis will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 56-34 non-league loss to Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 9-7.
