Nebraska High School Basketball - Gordon-Rushville overwhelmed by Morrill

In Friday's league test, the Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) basketball squad trounced the host Gordon-Rushville Mustangs (Gordon, NE), by a score of 57-35.

Next, the Lions encounter the Sioux County Warriors (Harrison, NE) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 1. Morrill will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 4-10 record after their 76-34 league loss to Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE).

The Mustangs (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Leyton (Dalton, NE). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Leyton bounced Banner County (Harrisburg, NE), 69-26, in a league test.
