The Williston-Elko Blue Devils basketball squad (Williston, SC), was nudged 66-63 in Friday's league battle with the host Horse Creek Academy Stallions (Aiken, SC)
With the victory, Horse Creek Academy advances its record to 3-11 on the year. The Stallions travel to Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA) to meet the Cavaliers in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 1. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a record of 13-6. Augusta Prep Day won 71-34 in their recent non-league battle against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA)
The Blue Devils now own a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hunter-Kinard-Tyler for a A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Williston-Elko will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 51-49 league loss to Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 11-7.
