The Lake Norman Wildcats basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host West Cabarrus Wolverines to 56 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a 4A Greater Metro game on Tuesday, February 4. Lake Norman will confront a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 88-64 league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, West Cabarrus falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Wolverines host A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to confront the Wonders in a 4A Greater Metro game on Tuesday, February 4. The Wonders go into the game with a record of 4-16. A.L. Brown lost 87-64 in their recent league game against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)
