Vermont High School Basketball - Lyndon Institute sneaks past Lake Region

The Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) basketball edged the host Lake Region Rangers (Orleans, VT), 43-41 in Friday's league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Randolph for a Capital bout on Wednesday, February 5. Lyndon Institute will play a Ghosts team coming off a 80-68 league win over U-32 (Montpelier, VT). The Ghosts record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Lake Region falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Rangers host Harwood (Moretown, VT) to confront the Highlanders in a Capital contest on Monday, February 3. The Highlanders go into the contest with a record of 11-3. Harwood won 59-51 in their recent league contest against Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT)
