In Wednesday's league contest, the host Lyndon Institute Vikings basketball team scored a good 41-29 triumph over the Lake Region Rangers.
The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Missisquoi Valley was topped by Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT), 47-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rangers battle the Enosburg Falls Hornets (Enosburg Falls, VT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Lake Region will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 65-40 non-league loss to Harwood (Moretown, VT).
