Texas High School Basketball - Lancaster victorious over Mesquite

In Friday's league contest, the host Lancaster Tigers basketball team scored a good 76-61 triumph over the Mesquite Skeeters.
The Tigers (23-5) will now prepare for their contest against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Indians go into the 6A Region II District 11 contest with a 15-12 record. In their last contest, Waxahachie was topped by Skyline (Dallas, TX), 59-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Skeeters battle the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Mesquite will attempt to better on its 9-17 season record. The Panthers and Pantherettes go into the contest with a 17-7 record after their 60-47 league win over Horn (Mesquite, TX).
