Georgia High School Basketball - Pike County routed by Morgan County

Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), 67-19 in a league match.

With the victory, Morgan County upgrades its record to 17-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Rutland (Macon, GA) to face the Hurricanes in a AA Region 2 match on Saturday, February 1. The Hurricanes enter the match with a record of 8-12. Rutland lost 52-39 in their recent league match against Callaway (Hogansville, GA)

The Pirates now sport a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Callaway for a AA Region 2 match on Monday, February 3. Pike County will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 70-53 league win over Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-14.
