The Paris Wildcats basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting North Lamar Panthers to 44 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 20-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pittsburg for a 4A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, February 4. Paris will play a Pirates team coming off a 66-31 league loss to Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 14-17.

With the loss, North Lamar falls to 21-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX) to play the Hawks in a 4A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 13-10. Pleasant Grove lost 56-35 in their recent league game against Bonham (Bonham, TX)
