Michigan High School Basketball - Reese thwarts Vassar

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Reese Rockets (Reese, MI) and the host Vassar Vulcans (Vassar, MI), observed Reese's basketball team knock off Vassar by a score of 62-51.

The Rockets (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI). The Hatchets come into the Greater Thumb - West challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Bad Axe prevailed over Cass City (Cass City, MI), 48-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vulcans encounter the Caro Tigers (Caro, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Vassar will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 53-52 league loss to Laker (Pigeon, MI).
