The Vassar Vulcans basketball squad (Vassar, MI), lost 70-59 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Reese Rockets (Reese, MI)

With the victory, Reese advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Rockets travel to Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI) to meet the Hatchets in a Greater Thumb - West battle on Friday, January 10.
