Southampton Academy Raiders (Courtland, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Tidewater Academy Warriors (Wakefield, VA), 65-26 in a league match.
With the victory, Southampton Academy upgrades its record to 8-10 on the year. The Raiders travel to Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA) to face the Knights in a VISAA Division IV match on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights enter the match with a record of 12-4. Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot won 80-22 in their recent non-league match against The New Community School (Richmond, VA)
The Warriors now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kenston Forest for a VISAA Division III match on Friday, February 7.
