The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Francis Lewis Patriots (Fresh Meadows, NY) and the visiting Bayside Commodores (Bayside, NY), observed Francis Lewis's basketball team overwhelm Bayside by a margin of 63-22.

The Patriots (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardozo (Bayside, NY). The Judges come into the PSAL 4A Queens III challenge with a 1-12 record. In their last challenge, Cardozo was trounced by Townsend Harris (Flushing, NY), 46-24, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Commodores battle the Lane Knights (Brooklyn, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Bayside will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 31-26 non-league loss to Long Island City (Long Island City, NY).
