The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Francis Lewis Patriots (Fresh Meadows, NY) and the host Bayside Commodores (Bayside, NY), observed Francis Lewis's basketball team overwhelm Bayside by a margin of 39-5.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardozo (Bayside, NY). The Judges come into the PSAL 4A Queens III challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Cardozo was trounced by Townsend Harris (Flushing, NY), 65-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Commodores battle the Bowne Wildcats (Flushing, NY) in a PSAL 4A Queens III challenge, on Wednesday, December 11. Bayside will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 64-50 league loss to Townsend Harris (Flushing, NY).
