In Friday's league contest, the host Cheraw Braves basketball team scored a big 57-27 triumph over the North Central Knights.

The Braves (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Pageland, SC). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Central was trounced by Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC), 57-20, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Knights confront the Andrew Jackson Volunteers (Kershaw, SC) in a AA Region 4 contest, on Friday, February 7. North Central will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record.
